Tom Cruise is in early talks to appear in the remake of Man From U.N.C.L.E, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Guy Ritchie is set to direct the big screen version of the sixties TV series.
The original show was set during the Cold War and featured the adventures of spies Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin who were played by Robert Vaughn and David McCallum. The pair were the top agents of the United Network Command for Law and Enforcement.
In 2011 Steven Soderbergh was hoping to recruit George Clooney for the project.
Ritchie has been attached to the project since December 2011 and has been struggling to find his Solo and Kuryakin.
