Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle has won this year's Dancing on Ice after an originally choreographed performance of Bolero, made famous by Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean at the 1984 Winter Olympics.

Tweddle and professional partner Dan Whiston beat former EastEnders star Matt Lapinskas and his partner Brianne Delcourt in the final, despite the latter couple achieving perfect scores from the judges for their two earlier dances.

However, once the viewers' votes were finalised after the couples' performance of Bolero, Tweddle and Whiston were the winners.

Speaking about her time on the show, Tweddle said: "It's been the most amazing experience and a lot of credit has to go to Dan."

Boxer Luke Campbell and his partner Jenna Smith finished third.
