Dublin-bound Blur aren't normally our choice of bedtime music but a US company has re-recorded some of the band's biggest hits as an album of lullabies.

Rockabye Baby has created an album featuring Parklife, Country House and Beetlebum, in soothing lullaby versions for parents to play during those long night feeds.

Rockabye has already created 37 similar albums covering the songs from the likes of Queen, U2, Bob Marley and Coldplay.

Victoria Beckham and David downloaded are reported to have downloaded an album of Beatles songs in lullaby for their daughter Harper Seven. Elton John and David Furnish are also said to have the versions of the Rolling Stones and Green Day in their nursery.

Blur have form with this falling asleep business having made a video for their single No Distance Left to Run featuring the band turning in for the night.

The band play Dublin's Museum of Modern Art on August 1.
