Alicia Silverstone is set to return the small screen in HR and will play a human resources director who takes a bold new approach to life after suffering a brain injury.
HR, which is written by Glenn Porter, was ordered by American TV network Lifetime in 2012, on the condition they found the right actress to play the lead role.
After a year-long search 36-year-old Silverstone has finally been cast giving the project the green light for production.
Silverstone is best-known for film roles including Clueless and Batman & Robin. Her past television work includes a stint in the comedy Suburgatory and a starring role in the short-lived Miss Match.
