Popera star Josh Groban visits Dublin on his current All That Echoes European four concert with a concert on June 23 at The o2.
The LA native with the boyish good looks and self-deprecating sense of humour, has just released his latest record All That Echoes which caused near meltdown when it was streamed exclusivity on RTÉ Ten last week.
The new album features Josh’s version of She moved Through The Fair, another sign of the tousled-haired baritone’s on-going love affair with Irish songs following his covers of Brendan Graham’s You Raise Me Up, which may have sent Westlife scampering back to their stools. Josh also did a fine job with his rendition of Declan O’ Rourke's modern classic, Gallileo.
It’s no surprise that Josh has a loyal, nay, rabid following in Ireland.
In addition to his passion for music, Groban, who celebrates his 32nd birthday this Wednesday, is also working on a budding acting career with roles in The Office US and the hit film Crazy, Stupid, Love, along with guest appearances on Sony Music cash-in show Glee and The Simpsons.
Tickets, priced $52.00, go on sale on Friday 1st March at 9am.
