Teen hearthrob Justin Beiber and blues rock gods The Black Keys have been exchanging some honest views about how they both fared at this year's Grammy Awards.
Following complaints by Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, that his client failed to win a single nomination at this year's music gong show, Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney remarked, "Grammys are, like, for music, not for money, and he's making a lot of money. I don't know - he should be happy, I guess."
People's poet Bieber responded on Twitter, joking that Carney should be "slapped around" but as yet there is no news of a showdown between the Keys and the edgy teen tearaway.
The Black Keys picked up the gongs for Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song and Best Rock Album, while Carney's bandmate Dan Auerbach was also honoured in his own right in the Producer of the Year (Non-Classical) category.
