Actress Susan Loughnane, who plays Debbie on hit TV drama Love/Hate, was completely ‘overwhelmed’ by her IFTAs win.
After picking up the award for Best Supporting TV actress Susan Loughnane told RTÉ Ten that she was “completely overwhelmed by it all”.
It was the 25-year-old Dublin native’s first time to the Irish Film and Television Awards and she was full of emotion when she joined us back stage.
She told RTE Ten: “I’m blown away and I am a little bit emotional actually and I didn’t want to get emotional because I forget to mention my boyfriend who is the most important person to mention. I can’t believe I did that."
Love/Hate swept the boards receiving six out the 11 awards it was nominated for. Irish film What Richard Did also came out on tops with five honours.
