A spokesperson for the rapper's record label has insisted Eminem is almost ready to release his next album.
Paul Rosenberg, an executive at Shady Records, told Billboard that the 40 year-old rapper is "far into the process" of recording his next album, adding "we fully expect to be releasing a new Eminem album in 2013. He's been working on it for some time".
Rosenberg hinted that the album is looking likely to drop around June of this year, while tour dates across Europe are also being finalised.
"We've got some dates locked in for him to perform live in Europe in August, so we're trying to see what else lines up," Rosenberg added.
Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers, is set to headline Slane on August 17th, before performing at the Reading and Leeds Festival in the UK the following weekend.
