Irish actor Andrew Scott is among the nominees for this year's BBC Audio Drama Awards.

Scott is nominated in the Best Actor category for his performance in Betrayal by Harold Pinter, with Henry Goodman (James Joyce's Ulysses) and Richard Johnson (Tennyson and Edison) completing the shortlist.

Dublin-born Sherlock star Scott won Best Supporting Actor at the inaugural BBC Audio Drama Awards last year for his performance in Nick Perry's Referee.

Coleraine-born Michelle Fairley is nominated for Best Actress this year for her performance in The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck, while Niamh Cusack is nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category for The Man with Wings by Rachel Joyce.

The winners will be announced on Sunday, January 27 in London.
