Westlife's Shane Filan and Mark Feehily have landed solo record deals.

Filan is hoping to release his first material early in 2013, while Mark is said to have secured a deal with Paul McCartney's manager, according to The Sun newspaper.

Westlife parted ways this summer after 14 years together in which they received 14 number one singles along with having a string of successful albums.

Since their break, Nicky Byrne went on to appear in UK TV show Strictly Come Dancing, while Kian Egan appeared as a coach on the Irish version of The Voice.

Filan, who has three children, Nicole, Patrick and Peter, with wife Gillian, has had to deal with some financial trouble recently, as he was declared bankrupt earlier this year.
