Coronation Street fans have been told that the show will double in size when it moves to its new set in 2014.
The Mirror says that for the first time in the soap's 52-year history fans will see two cars passing each other in front of the Rovers, while the one-third scale replica houses will also become full size.
The show is moving from Granada's studios in Manchester to Salford's Media City and will have four sound stages compared to the current two.
Actor Antony Cotton, who plays Sean Tully, said: "The street will be made wider so two cars can pass each other! Woohoo! There will probably be loads of scenes written in with two cars passing each other.
"They will be using exactly the same formation of cobbles as are in the current set but the street will be wider. At the moment only one car can go down."
