Aoibhinn Garrihy and a host of Fair City stars are lending their support to the Buds to Blossoms Fashion Show in aid of the Lotus Child charity and Saint Vincent De Paul.
Taking place on December 19 in the Armada Hotel in Spanish Point, Co. Clare, the Buds to Blossoms Fashion Show will see several Fair City stars and RTÉ’s Marty Morrissey lend their support for the Lotus Child charity and Saint Vincent De Paul.
Clelia Murphy will take a night off from her Carrigstown duties, where she plays Niamh, to host the festivities with Marty, while Fair City’s Carol Foley (Aisling O’Neil), the Bishop Boys and members of the Dillon Clan, including Neasa (Aoibhín Garrihy) will be making appearances on the night.
Speaking about the two charities Aoibhín said: "After traveling to Calcutta last year with Lotus Child, I witnessed firsthand exactly how much Lotus Child and the children of India need our support. Last year's event was such a huge success and thanks to the people of West Clare and beyond we were able to build a fantastic new centre in the Chaulgola community.
“This year we aim to do as much, if not more. I also feel it is vital to support a home charity and considering the time of year, Saint Vincent De Paul need our support now more than ever we so many families depending on them this Christmas. This is why we are so pleased to announce Saint Vincent De Paul, Clare as our second charity of choice.
"This year promises to be another fantastic night with an incredible line up and so many treats in store! I would encourage everyone to come along, have fun and support this very worthy cause. We promise a night to remember!"
Tickets can be purchased at the Armada Hotel (+353 65 707 9000), the Christmas Pantry, Parnell Street, Ennis or at all participating shops in Clare.
