Fox has announced that the Kiefer Sutherland series Touch will return a week later than planned.

The Tim Kring drama's second season was originally intended to debut Stateside on October 26th but the premiere was pushed back to February 1st, 2013.

But thanks to this latest delay Touch will launch its new run on February 8th with a two-hour season premiere, Fox has now confirmed.

New cast member Maria Bello will appear as a series regular in season two as the former ER and Prime Suspect actress plays Lucy Robbins, mother of a gifted child.

In the premiere, Martin Bohm (Sutherland), his son Jake (David Mazouz) and Robbins will go on the run from sinister organisation Aster Corps and religious zealot Guillermo Ortiz (Said Taghmaoui).

Touch season two will be broadcast in the UK on Sky One.
