Filming was stopped on Channel 4's afternoon game show Countdown because a contestant was showing too much chest hair.
A report in the Scottish newspaper Kirkintilloch Herald stated that in the instalment that will air next Monday (December 3rd), 24-year-old law student Duncan Conway decided to wear a V-neck top.
This meant that some of his chest hair was visible which prompted production staff to pause filming to tell the contestant to cover up.
Conway, from Lenzie in Dunbartonshire, recalled: "Having been instructed to either wear a shirt or V-neck, I opted for the latter - which was funny because on set there was a complaint that I was showing too much flesh and that my chest hair might offend some people.
"I had to have my T-shirt taped so it held up higher."
Conway added: "The filming was great fun and meeting the Countdown team was brilliant."
