Brad Pitt has hinted that he will marry fiancée Angelina Jolie in the near future.
Speaking at the premiere of Killing Me Softly in New York on Monday he told People: "The time is nigh. It's soon. I got a good feeling about it."
The 48-year-old actor added: "I am getting more pressure from my kids, and it is something I want to do within their lifetime, but I also feel like the time has come."
Pitt further explained that officially marrying Jolie has become far more important to him as he has grown older, saying: "We've had a family, we've raised the kids. I am surprised how much [marriage] meant to me once you had that."
Jolie and Pitt began their relationship after filming Mr and Mrs Smith in 2005.
The couple, who raise six children together, got engaged in April of this year.
