It has been announced that Tim Robbins is set to direct and star in the dark comedy Man Under.

The film, which will tell the story of a Yonkers family whose lives are changed when a photo in a museum makes them celebrities, is also set to star Michelle Pfeiffer and Chloe Moretz.

The Hollywood Reporter says the film is based on the screenplay by Ann Cherkis and is in the style of American Beauty and The Royal Tenenbaums. Most recently Robbins was seen in the drama Thanks for Sharing and recently has directed episodes of Treme. He was nominated for an Oscar for his direction of Dead Man Walking.

Michelle Pfeiffer and Chloe Moretz recently starred together in Dark Shadows.
