Star of the original Star Wars trilogy Carrie Fisher has said she would love to star in the upcoming seventh movie in the series.
Star Wars 7 was confirmed last week after it was announced that Disney has bought Lucasfilm from George Lucas for $4.05 billion. The movie is set to appear in cinemas in 2015.
Speaking to TMZ, Fisher who played Princess Leia in the movie franchise, said she would accept a role in the new movie saying "Yes, sure," she said. "Wouldn't you?" She said becoming a Disney princess is "fantastic", saying "It made my day."
Yesterday Entertainment Weekly quoted a source that suggested that even Harrison Ford would be open to also taking part despite him saying on previous occasions that he would not revisit the character of Han Solo.
Mark Hamill who starred as Luke Skywalker has also expressed interest in playing jedi once again.
