Former Friends actor Matthew Perry has invited David Beckham to guest star on his new TV Comedy Go On.
Perry, who had also appeared in hit TV show The Good Wife, plays a sports broadcaster who is struggling to cope after the death of wife on the hit US comedy.
He recently spoke to Wenn about upcoming guest stars. He said: "We have asked (ice hockey star) Wayne Gretzky; I'd love to have him on the show at some point. We've talked to David Beckham and he said that he would do it, so that was very exciting.
"My favourite athlete of all time is (tennis ace) Jimmy Connors, so, I guess my hope is that we get Jimmy Connors to come back and work with me again, which would be a dream come true."
Connors played himself in Perry's last TV sitcom, Mr. Sunshine.
