Former Grey's Anatomy and Lipstick Jungle star star Kim Raver has joined the cast of NBC's new series Revolution.
The sci-fi drama - from Lost creator JJ Abrams and Eric Kripke (Supernatural) - is set in a future world in which all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist.
TVLine reports that Raver will play a major role in the show, though details of her character are currently being kept a secret.
The 43-year-old's additional credits include stints on 24 and Third Watch. She recently exited Grey's Anatomy, where she played Dr Teddy Altman.
Billy Burke (Twilight), Tracy Spiridakos (Being Human), David Lyons (The Cape), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad) and Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost) will also star in Revolution.
