Britain's now-retired Olympic track cycling gold medallist Victoria Pendleton has said she would be "very interested" in taking part in the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.
During an interview on ITV1's Lorraine, Pendleton said of the dance show: "Well, I tell you what, if they do ring me I'd be very interested, I have to say.
"The idea of being very glamorous, it definitely appeals to me. After wearing Lycra suits and tracksuits for so long and not a lot of make-up I think, yeah, that would be good fun."
The line-up for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing will be announced next month, with the professional dancers already in rehearsals.
