Ireland rugby player Ronan O'Gara will crown this year's Rose of Tralee tonight.
The sports star will present the winner of the 2012 Rose of Tralee International Festival with her Newbridge Silverware tiara.
Last night, the first 18 Roses graced the stage at the Festival Dome, with the remaining 14 Roses meeting host Dáithí Ó'Sé from 8pm this evening.
O'Gara revealed that he is a fan of the show, with The Evening Herald quoting him as saying: "My wife slags me a lot about it but I'd be glued to the Rose of Tralee every year.
"I'm very proud of being Irish and it's nice to see the amusement and the enjoyment so many families get out of the programme."
Although he will present the tiara to the winner, O'Gara is not one of the judges at this year's event due to previous commitments.
