Lily Allen made a surprise return to the stage last night, joining Professor Green at the Stone Roses gig in Manchester.
Allen joined Professor Green, who was supporting the band on their comeback tour, to perform their 2010 hit 'Just Be Good To Green'
The singer later tweeted 'No @professorgreen wasn't swinging a cat around on stage @heatonpark that was me trying to sing. loved it, thanks manchester x x x'
The 27 year-old singer announced her retirement from the music business in 2009, stating that she would not renew her record contract and had "no plans" to make a third album.
During her time away from the music business, Allen married and gave birth to a baby girl, Ethel, in November 2011, as well as opening a vintage store with her half-sister called Lucy In Disguise and setting up her own record label.
Earlier last month Allen was spotted in a recording studio and announced to her fans that she would be coming out of retirement to make a third album, confirming that she is working with producer Greg Kurstin at the moment.
