Olly Murs will be joining One Direction on their US tour this summer, the singer told Daybreak: "I think I'm flying out on Monday morning, flying off to Canada to start the tour, it's going to be nuts.
"I've been over there the last couple of weeks. I've been doing some writing sessions and getting involved in it but you know, I've always said before, going to America is great and it's a great chance for me, but there's no pressure in it, it's going to be good.
"The single is released on the 29th over there, which is quite close. But it works differently over there, it all works on airplay and it's driving it. But, I mean, it's going to be great to be on the tour with the [One Direction] boys as well."
The former X-Factor contestant is also taking part in Soccer Aid, which he took part in during the 2010 after duetting with Soccer Aid organiser Robbie Williams. Murs said: "I've been looking forward to it for the last two years, I last did it two years ago. It's an amazing week actually from the start - getting to the hotel on Tuesday, it's like a proper football team. We meet up, we train every day... there'll be a bit of banter in the changing room, it's a good week."
Murs said: "It's going to be a great night, on a personal level and also for the charity (UNICEF). It's great, do you know what I mean? I'm a massive football fan anyway as it is, so to actually get a chance to play at Old Trafford where some of the best players in the world have played is great."
The Xtra-Factor co-host remained tight-lipped when it came to speaking about the fourth judge who will replace Kelly Rowland’s position on the show stating: "Everyone's asking me! I genuinely don't know. We never find out. I know that they're sort of doing guest judges, I think that's going to be the idea for the auditions.
"I don't know, it's always changing. One minute I was told that yeah, it was definitely gonna be Dannii Minogue, then one minute I was told it was going to be someone else, so, it's always changing. It just depends on who Simon wants. We'll see. I'm sure it's going to be a great year this year. We've got a lot of competitions off other shows, so hopefully fingers crossed that we can pull it out of the bag."
