Grey's Anatomy fans have been told to expect a "very different" season finale this year.
Warning: spoiler alert!
In a Q&A session with readers, TVGuide.com's Natalie Abrams said of the finale: "One thing you won't see is another shooter roaming the halls of Seattle Grace — thank goodness. We can't take that level of suspense in a contract year!
"But [show creator] Shonda Rhimes says the May 17 finale [on US TV] won't be as low-key as last year's, in which Meredith and Derek found themselves at odds yet again."
Rhimes told TVGuide.com: "Last season, we probably had the quietest finale we've ever had in terms of our characters. And I loved everything about it. But this season it's going to be very different from that."
