David Duchovny and wife Tea Leoni have split.
The actor and Leoni, who have children Madelaine, 12, and Kyd, nine, together - have separated after 14 years of marriage, a representative for Duchovny has confirmed.
However, TMZ reports that the pair are undecided on whether to begin divorce proceedings.
This is not the first time the couple have split, in October 2008 they parted ways.
In August of that year Duchovny entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction.
In a statement released through his lawyer at the time, Duchovny said: "I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction. I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family."
