RTÉ will have live coverage on Television, Radio and Online of the visit to Ireland by the President of the United States, Barack Obama, who arrives in Ireland this Monday morning.

There will be rolling coverage of the arrival of the President and the First Lady, Michelle Obama, at Dublin Airport and their subsequent visit to Áras an Uachtaráin to meet President McAleese and Dr McAleese. This will be followed by his meeting with An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, at Farmleigh.

In the afternoon, the President will pay a short visit to Moneygall in County Offaly, where he will meet some of his ancestral relatives.

Programming will continue on his return to Dublin when he will address a major public event in College Green.

RTÉ Radio 1 will provide rolling coverage on FM, on digital and online across the day. Today with Pat Kenny will bring listeners live to the arrival of President Obama at Dublin Airport; Pat and team will also follow the President’s progress to the Park and events at Farmleigh.

Liveline with Joe Duffy, meanwhile, will cover the President’s historic visit to Moneygall, while Drivetime with Mary Wilson will have all the breaking news and live coverage of the events in College Green.
