Brian O'Driscoll and his wife Amy Huberman have been invited to the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The Irish rugby captain revealed that he received "an official looking envelope" last Saturday, and inside found an invitation to the April service, reports the Irish Daily Star.
O'Driscoll said: "On arriving home last Saturday I discovered an official looking envelope that contained an invitation for Amy and I to the royal wedding of Prince William and his fiancé Kate Middleton.
"It's quite an honour and a lovely surprise for us to have been even considered."
The nuptials, which will take place on April 29 in Westminster Abbey, will be attended by 2,000 guests - including heads of state, monarchs and international stars.
