Model and actress Liz Hurley confirmed on Twitter yesterday that she and her husband have separated.
She tweeted: "Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this."
She commented following claims in a Sunday newspaper that she had been involved in a relationship with former Australian cricket star Shane Warne.
The News of the Word published an article yesterday with pictures of the pair together and claimed that they were seen hugging and kissing passionately. The divorced spin bowler arrived in the UK last week to film interviews for his new TV show.
45-year-old Hurley married Indian businessman Arun Nayar three years ago. They were married in a civil ceremony in the UK followed by traditional Indian wedding celebrations in Jodhpur.
She has an eight-year-old son Damian from a previous relationship. Previously she was in the public eye for dating actor Hugh Grant.
