Model Jenny-Lee Masterson is hoping she won't suffer the same fate as Cheryl Cole on Keith Duffy's charity trek next week.

The Assets model will join a host of stars this Sunday on a week-long challenge in Peru's Machu Picchu to raise funds for Duffy's charity, Autism Action.

She fears that she will suffer the same fate as Cole, who fell victim to altitude sickness while climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for charity last year.

Speaking to The Herald she said: "I think I can make it to the top. I'm just worried the altitude might affect me, like Cheryl Cole.

"With my modelling work I would always be in the gym but I've been doing a bit extra to get the legs strong.

"I've been doing weight training and cardio and trying to eat healthily."

Asked about other star's taking part in the charity climb, she said: "There's a few people I know going like Niall McCrudden [promoter], Michael Wright, Mikey Graham and, of course, Keith."

The High Kings Darren Holden is also due to join the 30-strong group in Peru.
