Gráinne Seoige has announced that the final week of 'The All Ireland Talent Show' auditions will take place tomorrow in Kilkenny.
The show's presenter said: "I’m really looking forward to heading to Kilkenny this weekend. It’s the last round of auditions and I can’t wait to see what the East has to offer.
"Don’t forget there’s €50,000 up for grabs so if you can raise a smile or make people stop in their tracks to look or listen, then we want to see you!"
Speaking about last week's auditions in the West, she said: "The auditions in Galway saw a huge turn out of traditional Irish music acts and Sean-Nós dancing.
"There were also quite a few 'family acts' at the last round of auditions with fathers and sons, brothers and sisters, showing up to strut their stuff.
"The West also proved to be quite a hub for magicians – there were several mind boggling acts hoping they could pull the rabbit out of the hat and make it through to the next round."
The auditions tomorrow, Saturday 26 September, take place in the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel on Ormonde Street. This round of auditions is aimed at applicants from Counties Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Wexford and Wicklow. Registration for auditions begins at 7am and closes at 3pm.
Please note: Applicants can only apply to the region they were born in or have lived in for at least the last 6 months. The head judge and his/her advisors do not attend the open auditions. However Gráinne Seoige will be at the Kilkenny open auditions this weekend.
