The first auditions in this year’s 'All Ireland Talent Show' take place tomorrow in Dublin with host Gráinne Seoige saying she is "excited" about the new season.

Speaking to RTÉ.ie Seoige said: "I'm very excited about 'The All Ireland Talent Show' this year.

"People turned up in their droves to audition last season - even though they had never seen the programme on television - so I'm hoping that the experience of watching the show, the high production values and polish of it, the atmosphere, the variety of talent, will encourage even more to give it a whirl this time.

"It is the most democratic talent contest: all ages, all talents, all types welcome. We want singers, dancers, performing dogs, duos, trios, bands, jugglers; performers from across the spectrum to feature."

The first audition takes place tomorrow, Saturday 29 August in Dublin's Griffith College, to find out who will follow in the footsteps of the Mulkerrin Brothers, the first All Ireland Talent Show winners.
