Singer and actress Connie Fisher would love a cameo role in the hit sitcom 'Gavin And Stacey', she said today.
'The Sound Of Music' star said she already spends a lot of time in Barry, where the television series is partly set, because her boyfriend Jeremy Reed lives there.
Speaking ahead of 'The Sound Of Music' tour, opening at the Wales Millennium Centre in July, Fisher said: "I haven't been asked (to appear in ‘Gavin And Stacey’), but I would jump at the chance if they did ask me! I could be a pub singer running a club over on the Island."
She said that Barry, together with sunshine and Wales, was one of her favourite things.
"I'm always hanging around Barry like a bad smell," said Fisher, 25, from Pembrokeshire.
Filming for the third and final series of 'Gavin And Stacey' is due to start later this month.
