The six participants for the new series of diet and lifestyle show 'Operation Transformation' have been announced.
The chosen 'Operation Transformation' leaders are Kelly Brouder (31) from Limerick, Keith Anthony (44) from Cork, Mick Boyce (26) from Dublin, Colette Cronin (33) from Dundalk, Denise Ryan (28) from Tipperary and Jean Kelly (47) from Dublin.
The leaders are challenged to shape up and lose weight in the New Year, and will also be trying to help RTÉ viewers, listeners and web users achieve their personal goals. They will have the help of presenter Gerry Ryan and three experts; fitness guru Karl Henry, motivational expert Pat Henry and weight loss expert Dr Eva Orsmonde.
During the course of the programme the six leaders will have to kick their bad food and exercise habits and re-style their wardrobe on TV, on radio and online. The six will transform their lives by following a tough exercise regime, a weekly weigh in and by preparing a meal by meal diet plan for two months.
The show will air every Thursday from 8 January on RTÉ One at 8.30pm and the audience will be able to see how the six leaders are getting on throughout the week while a dedicated website will keep the audience in touch with the participants as they change their lives.
The site will also feature tips on dieting, fitness regimes and styling.
TV: Watch the show on RTÉ One at 8.30pm every Thursday for eight weeks starting 8 January.
