Leonardo DiCaprio is planning to make a new film based on the classic television series 'The Twilight Zone'.

The Hollywood Reporter says that the actor's production company Appian Way and Warner Bros are looking for material for the film from one or more episodes of the series.

However the companies are not planning to shoot an episodic film, like the one of 25 years ago, but rather make a single storyline based on one or more episodes of 'The Twilight Zone'.

Warner Bros owns the rights to all the episodes penned by 'The Twilight Zone' creator Rod Serling during the show's run from 1959 to 1964.
