TV3 has said that 'Ireland AM' presenter Sinéad Desmond is "doing well" after being rushed to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin yesterday with a brain haemorrhage.

She became unwell yesterday at the station and was taken to Tallaght Hospital before being transferred to Beaumont Hospital.

The Evening Herald website reports that 'Ireland AM' co-presenter Mark Cagney said: "While she certainly has had a minor brain haemorrhage it appears as if our fears have thankfully been allayed and she will make a recovery."
