Music legend Ray Davies and Welsh outfit Super Furry Animals are among the latest acts to be announced for the new series of the acclaimed RTÉ Two music show 'Other Voices'.

Irish singer-songwriter Cathy Davey, The Coronas and Colm Mac Coniomaire have also been added to the bill.

They join 'Once' stars Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, Sinéad O'Connor, Paddy Casey, Ryan Adams, The Charlatans, Daniel Lanois, Seasick Steve and Fight Like Apes for the sixth series of the John Kelly-hosted show.

Other acts confirmed include Kate Walsh, Candie Payne, Foy Vance, The Answer, Interference, Dark Room Notes and Mary Gauthier.

Made by South Wind Blows for RTÉ Two, 'Other Voices' will be recorded in the Church of St James in Dingle, Co Kerry from Friday 30 November to Sunday 2 December and Friday 7 December to Sunday 9 December.

Tickets for the recordings are completely sold out.

In a new departure for the series, a number of Irish acts have been chosen to perform in another location in Dingle, these include David Geraghty, Halfset, Dry County, Jenny Lindfors, Adrian Crowley and Mick Flannery.

The sixth series of 'Other Voices' will be broadcast on RTÉ Two in the spring of 2008.
