Christian Slater will return to London's West End stage in October to take a role in a stage adaptation of the film 'Swimming With Sharks'.
The 1994 film stared Kevin Spacey as Buddy Ackerman, a Hollywood boss from hell, who gets taken hostage by his long-suffering assistant.
Slater will play the part of Ackerman at London's Vaudeville Theatre from October 16 for a 15-week season.
"It's a great role, a great play and I can't wait to get back on to the London stage - it's like my second home," Slater said.
The actor, whose film credits include 'True Romance', 'Pump Up The Volume' and 'Heathers', previously performed on the West End audiences in 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest'.
He was most recently on Irish cinema screens in the Emilio Estevez-directed 'Bobby'.
