Former 'Top of the Pops' presenter Reggie Yates has landed a role in the next series of 'Doctor Who'.
The 23-year-old star will play the brother of the Time Lord's assistant, who will be played by Freema Agyeman, following the departure of Billie Piper from the show.
The cast of the show have just finished filming an episode which will involve William Shakespeare, who is being played by Dean Lennox Kelly.
Executive producer Russell T Davies said: "The Shakespeare episode is, without doubt, one of our most ambitious projects to date."
"It's incredible to have a working replica of London's most famous theatre in which to film the new series.
"Viewers can look forward to Shakespeare giving the performance of his life in order to save the earth from destruction."
