Vin Diesel is to star in the big screen version of the upcoming Midway Games video game 'The Wheelman'.
Variety reports that the action-adventure follows a driver who comes out of retirement to protect a woman from his past.
The trade daily says that the game's storyline will be a prequel to the film, and there will be some crossover between the two.
Midway is currently developing the game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3; both the game and the film are set for release late in 2007.
