Nathan Fallowill, the drummer of American band Kings of Leon, has injured his wrist at the Roskilde festival in Denmark.

Kings of Leon are due to play the OXEGEN festival in Punchestown this weekend

Fallowill slipped and jammed his left wrist at the weekend and he is due to visit a doctor today to ensure that he can play the Irish show as well as Scotland's T In The Park festival.

A band spokesperson told NME.com that a show in Serbia was pulled as a result of the injury: "He's going to see the doctor and hopefully it isn't too bad. There's been one gig cancelled but he should be fine for the rest."

Kings of Leon are due to play the Main Stage at OXEGEN on Saturday 10 July.

OXEGEN already lost one act through injury when David Bowie pulled out of the Sunday line-up last week due to a shoulder problem.
