American band Throwing Muses have reformed to record a new album.

Despite critical and commercial success in the 1980s, the group split up after the release of 'Limbo' in 1996.

Kristin Hersh and her half-sister Tanya Donelly (both on guitars/vocals) have recorded twelve new songs with drummer David Narcizo and bassist Bernard Georges.

Although the album is currently being mixed, a release date has not yet been set.
