When in middle age writer Paul Morley found himself retreating into the sounds of artists he loved when, as an emerging music journalist in the 70s, he wrote for The NME, he stopped himself. 

Not wanting to give in to nostalgia, he went searching for something new – and found it in classical music.

In his new book A Sound Mind, Morley argues this genre to be the most exciting and varied in music - and just as rock n' roll as rock n' roll itself. He talks to RTÉ Arena above...
