Steve Cooney is instantly recognizable as one of the most influential guitarists in the traditional genre. He chatted to Kay Sheehy on RTÉ Arena about his first solo album, Ceol Ársa Cláirsí, which takes old tunes specifically composed for the Irish harp and transposes them for guitar.
