RTÉ News reports on a rather unique occasion; to celebrate Druid's acclaimed new production of John B. Keane's classic play Sive, Dublin's Gaiety Theatre (where the show runs until March 3rd) put out a call to all the actresses who had played the title role in any of the innumerable productions of the show over the past five decades. They came together earlier this month, and were joined by Grainne Good, who plays Sive in Garry Hynes' new production, and Margaret Ward, who debuted the role in 1959.
