Huge crowd attends fundraiser for the Dublin Fusiliers

Dublin, 26 April 1915 - A huge crowd attended a matinee concert held at the Theatre Royal in Dublin to raise funds for the Dublin Fusiliers Comfort Fund this week.

Amongst the great array of songs performed was ‘Wild Rose’ sung by Kate Egan. A recitation, ‘The Poet and the Rustic’ was given by Muriel Munro, with accompaniment on the harp by Annie Fagan. A further concert will shortly be held in support of the Disabled Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Association.
