The names of the victims of the ambush are Lieutenant Kevin Gleeson; Sergeant Hugh Gaynor; Corporals Peter Kelly and Liam Dougan; Privates Matthew Farrell, Michael McGuinn, and Gerard Killeen; Trooper Thomas Fennell; Private Patrick Davis; Trooper Anthony Browne.
