Cycle from St Stephen's Green in Dublin to Fairyhouse Racecourse raises funds for Hardwicke Street.
The Cycle of Hope was organised by the Dublin Junior Chamber and The Evening Herald newspaper to fundraise for a community centre and playground for Hardwicke Street. The event was launched by Charles Haughey.
Among the many bicycles taking part at St Stephen's Green are a four-poster bed frame bicycle, a unicycle, and a halfpenny bicycle. Rally driver Rosemary Smith was among those taking part in the cycle.
