Robbie Sexton talks about his band Blink and lends a hand with the gig guide for the week ahead.
Blink have been playing together for seven or eight months, mainly rehearsing and recording. Keyboard player Robbie Sexton says that it is difficult to define their sound as they play slow songs and then dance numbers too. He is optimistic about the future for Blink with interest from record companies but his lips are sealed about any record deals.
Blink are taking a break from recording and rehearsing for some live shows. They play the Baggot Inn in Dublin tonight and next week they play alongside Into Paradise in the Rock Garden. The band hope to release a single or an EP in the summer.
As the special guest on the show, Robbie Sexton also lends a hand with the gig guide for the coming week which includes performances from The Stunning, Dig This, Raw November, Power of Dreams, Into Paradise, The Kissingers, Scullion, Toasted Heretic, The Back Room Boys, and more.
