The 10th Brighter Homes and DIY Exhibition at the RDS in Dublin provides the public with an insight into the latest developments in home furnishings and building.

They say more and more brighter homes are installing a home organ.

The exhibition has over 120 stands with the latest ideas for the home making it the most elaborate Brighter Homes Exhibition to date.

Among the products on display are home organs distributed through Drogheda and at a priced of £2,700. Also on show is a Danish jacuzzi bath, and conservatories from the Liberties in Dublin at a cost of between £10,000 and £15,000.

Organisers expect that the six day exhibition will receive more than the record of 67,000 visitors.

It's a brave shop window for many small businesses.

Exhibitor Mr Harris says that the event offers an opportunity for small business to promote their products and services in what is otherwise a challenging market.

The exhibition also has a lot to offer DIY enthusiasts and visitors can explore a life size attic conversion in the RDS.

Students from Dublin's College of Marketing and Design also have some radical solutions to wall decoration on display.
