Singer, songwriter and actor Carole King stars in 'Brighton Beach Memoirs' at the Andrews Lane Theatre in Dublin.

When theatre director Peter Sheridan invited American singer, songwriter and actor Carole King to take the role of Kate Jerome in Neil Simon's ‘Brighton Beach Memoirs’ she jumped at the chance.

Carole King previously met Peter Sheridan when visiting Ireland in 1995,

I knew of his excellent reputation as a director and I knew then that I would like to work with him but I was rather surprised when he did call.

The Red Kettle production of ‘Brighton Beach Memoirs’ is playing at the Andrews Lane Theatre in Dublin. For Peter Sheridan the play adeptly combines comedy and tragedy and contains universal themes,
